I was born in Szeged, Hungary, In 1976. In summer of 1995 I got my first tattoo from Rosco, a local tattoo artist - that's where my fascination for tattooing started. I got hooked on it!
At the time it was not at all easy to get tattoo supplies in Hungary - In 1997, after a lot of research, my buddy and I finally succeeded in building our own tattoo machine. I started tattooing - and haven't given it up since. I got a lot valuable advice along the way from Györi Bertalan and Bozsó László (RIP), two good tattoo artists in Szeged. I thank them a lot. In 1998 I moved to the USA, where I started to work as a full time tattoo artist a year later. AlternativeXpression (Queens, NYC) was a great place to start out - the bosses, Farel & Marie Brenstein, were employers and family in one. They brought me to conventions, where I met brilliant tattoo artists like James & Tim Kern. I learnt a lot visiting Guy Aitchison and Brian Everett seminars. In 2002 I left AlternativeXpression to look for more experlence: I worked in Painless Steel Tattoo (New York City), Mac Dougal Street Tattoo Co. (New York City), Tiki Tattoo (Waikiki, Hawaii), Shimada Tattoo (Tokyo, japan), etc. Currently I am working in Rue de Framboise Tattoo (Zurich, Switzerland) and as guest artist In Visavajara (Nünberg, Germany). 2010. February 1. I've opened up my own studio in Zürich (Seefeld). Where I welcome everyone! |
